A planned free microscope control software for electron microscopes
The software project will take shape as progress is made with imaging software above, but the scope is full control of basic electron microscopes, starting with SEM and then extending to TEM/STEM.
Target hardware is the USB-interfaced SEM and TEM controls electronics racks from point electronic GmbH. Current plans include control of the electronics required for routine microscope operation, including power suppliers, amplifiers and controllers.
